Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Prepare the meat just like meatballs:
1 pound of ground lamb
cut 5 pieces of garlic chopped very thin
add salt and pepper
chopped parsley like 10 stcoks
chopped celery the heart very thin
one bell pepper very thin chopped
Mixed everything put two eggs and some flour for consistence. Make balls and fry them in olive oil.
While you are preparing the meat put a whole cabbage in hot water do not leave boiling. Make sure you can take out of the water and unwrapped each leave of cabbage.
Make one roll just like Dolmas wrapping so put one of teh meatball into the cabbage leaf individually. Wrap the whole meatball and the cut more cabbage to have extra vegetables to serve when you finished the wrapping.
Put them in the oven just to seal all the rolls and serve them. And do not leave teh cabbages for too long in the oven only for 20 minutes in 375 F.
Now the sauce:
1 pound of chopped tomatoes and chopped parsley
Put salt and pepper and add a 1/2 of pound of green grapes for cooking. Wash the grapes and peel the skin if you can before putting them with the tomatoes sauce. Add olive oil and ready to serve on top of the stuffed cabbage.
Cook's note: it takes more than two hours to make this recipes you must have a lot of energy and time. This recipe can be with chicken, lamb, pork, turkey or beef all ground
Makes: 6 to 8 stuffed cabbages
