This is lovely place to spend a spring day. We’ll descend through a shaded forest as we make our to Tomales Bay where we’ll enjoy lunch on a beautiful secluded beach. Along the way we’ll pass through Bishop pines, tunnels of tanoaks, and lush marshy areas. We should be serenaded by songbirds as we look for wildflowers and, if we’re lucky, we may be entertained by bat rays while we eat. Total distance: 3 miles. Elevation change: 475' including a sustained uphill climb. This walk is offered in partnership with State Parks. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
