Youth volunteers must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also registered.
What to Expect
Off-trail work on uneven and sometimes steep terrain
Tasks may include removing plants from soil, bending, and carrying heavy bags
Up to 0.5 miles total hiking, on flat terrain
Parking lot is about 250 yards from the meeting spot; from there, we may hike up to another 250 yards to the worksite
Hazards may include ticks, poison oak, and stinging nettle
Bathrooms are available at the meeting spot
