Join Bay Nature and wildlife biologist Anton Sorokin for a Bay Nature Talk about snakes of the Bay Area, inspired by his Summer 2025 piece about where to find snakes in the Bay Area, on Wednesday, August 6 from 12pm - 1pm. This talk will be an in-depth look at some of the most charismatic snake species that can be found around the San Francisco Bay Area, with discussion of their natural history, conservation concerns, and field stories about snake encounters. This talk is free for Bay Nature Members and $5 for non-members.
