May full moon hike for PRNSA members

Saturday, May 10 · 6 - 9pm PDT

Chimney Rock Trailhead

Join Point Reyes National Seashore Association (PRNSA) on Saturday, May 10th for a full moon walk at the Chimney Rock Trailhead to explore the sights, sounds, and scents of this remarkable trail in the late springtime. Let’s tune into the greening of the growing year by seeing what’s in bloom along this beautiful trail. We will honor the sunset, learn about the moon's phases and influence, walk as a group together, and offer an opportunity to walk in silence.

Chimney Rock trail is 1.75 miles round trip that leads along the ridge crest of a narrow peninsula, offering spectacular views of the bay and coastline. The trail is a bit rugged-- good hiking shoes are recommended. Trekking poles can offer great support too.

We appreciate the support of our members and are excited to offer them this special program. All members are allowed up to two guests (guests can be non-members). All ages are welcome.
