Every year a multitude of birds move through the outer areas of the county during the fall migration. We'll explore the estuary, beach, and open water looking for birds that stop here as they make their way from northern breeding grounds to their winter homes in the south. Total miles: 3. There is little elevation change, but we will be walking in sand. This walk is offered in partnership with Point Reyes National Seashore. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets are allowed, except for service/companion animals. Adverse weather or poor air quality may cancel. Registration is required.
