Marin CNPS 50th Anniversary Plant Challenge
Join the Marin chapter of the California Native Plant society to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2024 by accepting the Wild Plant Challenge!
All are welcome to participate, regardless of previous knowledge or experience. The goal is to encourage as many people as possible to become enthusiastic about finding Marin’s native plants in the wild and observing them in all their marvelous detail. They have compiled a list of native plants for this treasure hunt that will require exploration in several different habitats at different times of the year. All those who submit verified observations of at least 50 of these plants during the challenge period (March 1 through July 31) will receive special recognition at their 50th Anniversary in August.
